As you can see, Avery was right there near the front and has this to report from the website:
“Everyone went wild when people started coming out. Callery got the most applause out of the non-actors (excluding Howard Gordon), Katee Sackhoff had a huge welcome from the Sci-Fi friendly crowd (myself included), and of course Kiefer and Mary Lynn drew wild applause and cheers.”
“Katee was also a big fan of the show, and said she told her agent “Get me on 24!” when Battlestar Galactica ended. When she started talking about Dana, she stumbled over the name – “They’ve changed it like four times!” When the audience laughed, she added “I play Starbuck!”
Dana is engaged to Cole and plays Chloe’s boss at CTU. When Katee got the part, she sat down with Gordon and other producers and said “This is fantastic, but I need a gun. Two, preferably.” She said that she loves saying all of these big words – “not really!” – but feels naked without a gun after her time on BSG.”
“Dana is Chloe’s boss; I predict friction, and we see a hint of that in the sneak peek.”
